ACIIDS-2012 Author Guide
Dear Contributing Authors,
We are grateful to your contributions to ACIIDS-2012.
The online Information for LNCS Authors from Springer has detailed instructions and related files for authors in the preparation of camera-ready manuscripts and copyright forms.
This Author Guide contains additional information on how to submit your camera-ready manuscripts and copyright forms to ACIIDS-2012.
You are kindly reminded with the following issues:
1. Important Due Dates
a. Due date for camera-ready manuscript: December 20, 2011.
b. Due date for copyright form: December 20, 2011.
2. Paper Formatting
a. For each paper, there is a 10-page limitation, including all figures, tables, and references. Authors will be allowed 2 extra pages at a cost of US $100 per additional page.
b. The detailed specification of the paper format are given in the following templates:
i. LaTeX2e: http://bit.kuas.edu.tw/~aciids12/typeinst.zip and http://bit.kuas.edu.tw/~aciids12/llncs2e.zip
ii. Word 2003: http://bit.kuas.edu.tw/~aciids12/word.zip
c. Please do use above templates directly in the formatting of your camera-ready manuscripts.
3. Camera-Ready Manuscript
a. The Springer demands BOTH source files (LaTeX source files, *.tex, *.eps or Word, *.doc, etc.) and pdf file (Portable Document Format) in the proceedings editing.
b. Please place the pdf file and all required source files for your camera-ready manuscript in the same directory and compress them into a single compressed file in zip format.
c. Please use your assigned Paper ID No. in the naming of your camera-ready manuscripts, such as ACIIDS-2012-0001.zip and ACIIDS-2012-IS01-01.zip.
d. For General Session, please upload your camera-ready manuscripts via the conference web site at http://bit.kuas.edu.tw/~aciids12 using your previous account/password by December 20, 2011.
e. For Invited Session, please send your camera-ready manuscripts directly to your Session Organizers by December 20, 2011.
4. Copyright Form
a. A signed copyright form is required for your papers to be included in the conference proceedings.
b. Please download and print out the copyright form: http://bit.kuas.edu.tw/~aciids12/copyrightlncs.pdf or http://bit.kuas.edu.tw/~aciids12/copyrightlncs-aciids-2012.pdf
c. Please fill in related fields and sign it.
1. Title of the Book/Volume/Conference: ACIIDS 2012 Proceedings
2. Volume Editor(s): Jeng-Shyang Pan, Shyi-Ming Chen, and Ngoc-Thanh Nguyen
d. Please scan the signed copyright release form and convert it into pdf.
e. Please use your assigned Paper ID No. in the naming of your signed copyright forms, such as ACIIDS-2012-0001-cf.pdf and ACIIDS-2012-IS01-01-cf.pdf.
f. For General Session, please upload your signed copyright forms via the conference web site at http://bit.kuas.edu.tw/~aciids12 using your previous account/password by December 20, 2011.
g. For Invited Session, please send your signed copyright release forms directly to your Session Organizers by December 20, 2011.
